SIHH 2019 has begun: check out what you’re missing

The 2019 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH 2019) has begun today. This event is an international fair of fine watchmaking reserved for the professionals in fine watchmaking who are invited by the exhibiting brands.

This will be a 4-day event which started today lasting to the 17th of January 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland. Check out the images below to know what you can expect from this year’s edition.

This luxury event was created with the goal of promoting fine watches as well as to offer a privileged setting destined for an elite clientele. In this event, the guests can discuss the future of luxury products particularly the matter of watches in a changing European and international climate.

During the event, over 20,000 attendees who are invited will be able to discover the latest timepieces from the 35 exhibitors. We should also point out that SIHH is the launchpad for 2019’s year’s biggest trends in watchmaking, among other luxury trends.

This event is often described as being an immersive experience rich in content as well as being “an innovative, interactive and resolutely connected platform for the benefit of exhibitorsvisitors and watch enthusiasts.

The 2019 edition of SIHH has to show 35 exhibitors, 18 Historic Maisons, among them names such as Cartier,  Vacheron Constantin, Bovet, and Audemars Piguet, and we can’t also forget to mention 17 independents in the Carré des Horlogers, with names such as Armin Strom, Christophe Claret, and Laurent Ferrier on the list.

The auditorium will be the perfect place for both exhibitors and guests and to exchanges ideas. Every day, guests (among them some influential personalities from areas such as fashion, design, the arts, and new technologies) will be coming together to discuss a variety of issues. In this area is an opportunity for brands to meet their fans and followers at keynote launches which are streamed live to social media.

The last year edition which lasted from 15 to 19 January 2018  allowed a crowd of over 15,000 visitors to know more about the world and trends of Fine Watchmaking, provided to them by original interactive experiences that completed their enjoyment of the fabulous new products lining the aisles.
