We’re betting you’re pretty excited for the upcoming edition of Maison et Objet 2019 (aka MO 19), right? Truth be told, there isn’t anyone out there who isn’t looking forward to taking an inspiring trip through Paris. However after a long day’s walk one sure needs some rest. Basel Shows has gathered five good examples of luxury hotels where you can relax after strolling through the city of love!
Mandarin Oriental Paris
Located within the Paris city centre, Mandarin Oriental Paris consists of a 1930s palace hotel located in a historic building. This lovely luxury retreat boasts a minimalist décor inspired by haute couture and renowned fashion houses. Set on two levels, the spa and wellness centre is complete with an indoor pool, a steam room and spa suites with private steam shower and changing room.

Hôtel de Berri
The bespoke decor of this luxury hotel is perfectly complemented by the fireplace with detailed mouldings reminiscent of ancient Rome or Greece. This is just the centrepiece of a division also adorned by large leopard armchairs, marble walls, and checkered floors, making this a unique choice among the many hotels in Paris you can find.
Hôtel Providence comes off as a true example of a space filled with a true example of Parisian living space. Many Parisians know this establishment located at the East side of Paris, specifically the heated terrace of Providence. Once inside you can also check out the dining room defined by a very British style featuring an adorable fireplace mixing stone with a lovely wooden carved mantel.
Shangri-La Hotel Paris
A former residence of Prince Roland Bonaparte and listed in the French “Monuments Historiques”, Shangri-La Hotel Paris is a palace hotel located across the Seine and facing the Eiffel Tower. It reflects both Asian hospitality and French art de vivre. It features 3 restaurants, an indoor pool and a spa and it also provides wellness and leisure services which include an indoor swimming pool and fitness room bathed with natural daylight.

Lastly, we’ve picked a luxury reference that just had to be on our list! For your well being, Ritz Paris boasts a selection of bars and restaurants, a fitness centre and a spa and wellness centre which includes a pool, sauna and massage facilities. The amazing luxury hotel also features a garden and business centre that has an amazing presentation.
