Design Miami Basel 2019 is about to have its 14th edition happening between June 11-16th. So far it’s estimated that there will be around forty-three international galleries all of which will be participating to showcase the best of design and art in Miami. Today Basel Shows is diving a little deeper within this upcoming event and telling you a little more regarding what you can expect in this edition.
Design Miami Basel 2019, like all of this event’s previous editions, is an event set to be welcoming and bringing together the most influential collectors, curators, critics designers, gallerists, and all in all design enthusiasts from around the world. For 6 days Miami will become an amazing celebration of design culture and commerce.

The 14th edition of Design Basel Miami 2019 event will include debut works and solo shows, from rare Mid-Twentieth century masterpieces to contemporary art. These amazing galleries all with distinct themes and origins will be presenting museum-quality exhibitions of the twentieth and twenty-first-century furniture, as well as other amazing lighting and objets d’art.
Once again, it will be expected that Design Miami Basel 2019 be an amazing representation of the very best of art and design. This Miami event also has some separate editions in the USA each December and Basel, Switzerland (where it first came to be) each June.
The main purpose behind this amazing event has to do with the fact that it’s an initiative that seeks to satisfy the demand for a high-end design fair, as well as to broaden awareness of modern and contemporary design.
