Visitors Guide for Art Basel Miami 2016 – Art Basel Miami Beach receives more than 70,000 visitors from all over the world. The premier art fair in the Americas, it offers a remarkable range of high-quality artworks to be seen and experienced. Here you will find information about the show and its host city Miami Beach, and a guide to help arrange your visit.
Guided tours
Touring the show with a knowledgeable art expert is one of the richest ways to experience Art Basel. They can introduce you to the artwork, provide context and answer your questions.
Guided tours of Art Basel and Public installations in Collins Park are available daily during show hours. Individual visitors can register online with ArtNexus.

Bookstores
For the duration of the show, you can browse and purchase a wide selection of notable books about Modern and contemporary art from the following major artworld publishers: Taschen America LLC., ARTBOOK | D.A.P., Printed Matter, Inc. and Art Metropole.

Visitors with disabilities
Special care has been taken to equip the Miami Beach Convention Center with amenities to provide accessibility to persons with disabilities. Manual wheelchairs and scooters are offered complimentary and available on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be picked up at the Information desk, Info Zone D and B.

Art Basel brings art to all ages. Future art aficionados aged 4 to 12 are invited to visit the free kindergarten and playroom while their parents tour the show. A team of professionals from the Miami Children’s Museum bring your child’s creative side to life through arts and craft activities, art history and storytelling.
