Luxury Watches: Poinçon de Genève Saphir by Ateliers DeMonaco – Benefiting from the Geneva Seal, one of the most demanding certifications in the watchmaking universe, Ateliers deMonaco is proud to introduce their newest design, called Saphir, to its prestigious Poinçon de Genève collection. Available in several exquisite versions, the Saphir watch and the impressive movement inside have been finished to meet the highest standards of quality, in order to bear the brand’s logo.
All steel parts have polished angles, and their visible surfaces have been smoothed down, with polished screw heads and so on. The new Ateliers DeMonaco Poinçon de Genève Saphir watches were named after the special sapphire dial, which lets people see through and admire the beautifully decorated hand wound dMc-708 caliber within.

The movement inside isn’t skeletonized and behind the dial sits the main plate, allowing the dauphine hands and large applied diamond-cut and PVD-plated Roman numeral indexes to work their magic. The caliber, dubbed as dMc-708, also features Atelier de Monaco’s special “Freebeat” regulation system, that’s backed up by 38 hours worth of power reserve.
The Ateliers DeMonaco Poinçon de Genève Saphir watches come in either 18K white gold or 18K rose gold cases, each of them being limited to just a couple of units. You will have to pay $23,000 for the rose gold option, while a white gold piece costs $24,100.
