Baselworld 2019 has left us with a couple of relevant trends among luxury Swiss watches. Many top renowned brands have presented some products with the Black and White trend as a basis and today we’re taking a look at a couple of these products. Here’s our little selection of some bespoke watches that can give a new class to your wrist in 2019.

Octo L’Originale Solotempo – Bulgari

The Octo L’Originale Solotempo is a good example of an elegant combination of black and gold. The case is coated with black DLC, contrasting with the golden hands and indices.

Big Bang Unico Titanium White 42 – Hublot

This lovely watch from Hublot was presented at Baselworld as being a timeless companion for both men and women. Its monochrome white look makes this product ready to be combined with any other colour of the user’s liking.

Manufacture Slimline 50-hour power – Frédérique Constant

This one is available with either a white or black dial. Aside from being quite the slim model, this watch has an allure perfectly complemented by a pointer date located at 6 o’clock on the purist dial.

Voutilainen 28E – Kari Voutilainen

This model by Kairi Voutilainen is the perfect example of how a luxury watch can combine both the respect for longevity and precision with classical watchmaking tradition. Aside from its stylised Arabic numerals and large pomme-style hands it has a dial which consists of grand feu enamel over gold.

Ref. 5520P – Patek Philippe

This model by Patek Philippe combines the manufacture’s exclusive dual time zone “Travel Time” system with a 24-hour alarm mechanism, proving once again that this brand still has it when it comes to adapting to the modern watchmaking industry. It has a stunning ebony-black sunburst dial perfectly combined with gold applied numerals and luminescent coating.

Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42 – Rolex

This unique model that Rolex revealed during Baselworld is fitted with a Cerachrom insert in matt-black ceramic which successfully complements its black lacquer dial. Not to mention the fact that the broad hands and hour markers are made from a material which emits a long-lasting glow enhancing the black dial even more.

LX Black Edition SNR035 – Seiko Prospex 

Last but not least we have this model by Seiko Prospex which is part of the new collection of sports watches of the brand. It’s ideal for athletes seen as it has heavy protection from a super hard coating, as well as a titanium case which is watertight to 100 meters, and also 72 hours of power reserve.
