Newport Chronograph in Black PVD
This steel timepiece coated in black PVD throughout is instantly recognisable as part of the Newport family and maintains all of the original specifications of the collection. Its rounded case measures 42.5 mm in diameter. The notched black dial with circular brushed bezel is arranged like a dashboard, engraved with a tachymeter scale. Punctuated with luminescent baton hour markers ringed by a discreet minute track on the encircling flange, the dial houses three counters in a V shape, in an anthracite grey that discreetly draws the gaze. Complete with a large date aperture at 12 o’clock, the well-balanced design affords easy reading of the information on display.
Megarotor GMT
Available in 18 ct rose gold or in stainless steel, the Megarotor GMT offers a pleasing
variety in term of colours and appearances. The cutting-edge dials combined with
attractive alligator straps colours, give a unique freshness and a contemporary touch
to this metropolitan masterpiece. The frequent flyers and collectors have a wide
choice: from the very stylish anthracite grey and elegant deep blue to the romantic
tropical champagne and antique rose. To crown it all: an intensive shade of red.
Czapek & Cie
Czapek’s first engine-turned dials, using the distinctive “ricochet” design, were launched last autumn in two colours: Aqua Blue and Sea Salt Grey. The Sea Salt Grey version shows off the detail of the engine turning and the distinctive angle of depth of the grooves that can only be achieved by hand turning on a rose engine. On the Aqua Blue version, however, the colour hue changes with the reflection of light, allowing aesthetics to get the upper hand over the technical finish of the engine-turned pattern. Just two different colours therefore create two highly different aesthetics. Czapek & Cie now takes this even further with the introduction of some colours rarely seen on engineturned dials.
MeisterSinger’s city kid
MeisterSinger makes mechanical watches for people who know just what is important to them – people who don’t constantly want to count the seconds, for instance – and want the things they surround themselves with to be smartly and meticulously designed.
Balthazar ‘B4’ and ‘B5’
Balthazar B4 and B5 are respectively the fourth and fifth, final editions of Balthazar: after blue, black and green editions, the B4 / B5 limited editions are now fully gold plated, from head to toe and fully black (except movement that couldn’t be PVD due to technical reasons). Unlike C-3PO, these new editions may not be fluent in six million forms of communication, but they can indicate the moon phase with extreme accuracy: all he needs is a single day of adjustment after 122 years! They will also unfailingly tell you the time.
