Baselworld 2015 is happening and Basel Shows will be there checking out the newest jewellery and watches from brands like Rolex, Omega, Tissot, TAG Heuer, Zenith, Chopard, Patek Philippe, Breitling, Fendi, Bulova, and many, many more, from the biggest names to the cool independents.

At hall 1.0 and 1.1 you will find some of these brands and you will have also a great look through some of the most luxurious brands of Basel World.

It will be an exciting show. Basel Shows will try to have the best coverage of the show, so check out what we hope to be a very personal Baselworld experience. We are already searching for the most important watches and jewelry that will be released this year.

On everyone’s minds in the watch industry this year are smartwatches.

Apple was clever to announce the sale date of the Apple Watch just a bit in advance of Baselworld 2015, and we also know that major companies like The Swatch Group, LVMH, and many others are going to start dabbling in the smartwatch area more and more.

The question we have is how attention this year on those types of products will impact the sale as well as release of important new mechanical watches. Whether you like smartwatches or not, you can be sure that they are on the minds of watch companies and that they will have an effect on their decision making.
