After the luxury watches and jewelry show Baselworld, that occurred last March, Basel hosts host this month one of the most important art events in the world. Art Basel is the international premier show for modern and contemporary art, bringing over 300 leading galleries from around the world to the heart of Europe. The exhibition includes a wide variety of art works, since paintings, sculptures, drawings, installations, photographs, video and more.
Basel ranks as one of Europe’s most alluring cultural cities regarding its world-class museums, theaters, concert halls, medieval old town and new architecture. Therefore, if you are an art fan, you will not want to miss the event and the opportunity to meet Basel, Switzerland.

Guided tours
In the event you will also have the possibility of doing a guided tour, they are available from Thursday to Sunday during the show hours. The tours are guided by art historians and art critics. The public tours are offered in four languages: English, German, French and Italian. Private tours are also possible in Spanish.
