There are many celebrities who just love to escape to Switzerland to relax and buy a house there. And this includes a certain Italian designer. Today we’re having a look inside Giorgio Armani house in Switzerland.
Starting with the exterior, we can definitely see the Switzerland style at its best. The designer allegedly added sgraffito, which is a traditional scratch-work decoration known in the country. As a matter of fact, the house dates from around the 17th century and it was adapted to a modern house.
The first thing you will notice in the decoration is that there are many furniture pieces from Armani/Casa. Of course, it’s natural that it is so, not only due to him being the face of the brand but also due to the fine design of the furnishings. In the living room shown in the image, we can find a sofa, cocktail table, and silk rug from Armani/Casa.
Aside from the fact that the living room has a direct view of the Alps, there are also the rich details you notice in the restoration work there. The walls are made of marmorino veneziano which are framed by the mahogany beams. Not to mention the lovely sofa on the right upholstered by Rubelli from Donghia.

In the living room, still managing to have a stunning view of the mountains, we can also find a decoration filled with warm colors such as gold (on the curtains) and orange (on the chairs). Once again we can detect elements from Armani/Casa such as the rug, the fabric of the sofas and the lantern lamps. There’s even a table with a bronzed-brass base on another part of the room surrounded by director’s chairs made with Bulgarian leather.
The lounge is filled with Armani/Casa furnishings, among which we can see the director’s chairs lamps, pendant light, and the felt-top card table. Truly a refined place to have a cup of tea or play cards all night long right?

The bedroom has a fur coverlet is draped over the designer’s Armani/Casa bed. In the image, the covers are made from Rubelli fabric. The earth tones of this room sure make it a calm division one would love to sleep in.
Not to mention the spa inside the house, filled with shimmering mosaic tiles. The towels are stored at an Armani/Casa iron-and-leather textile rack, of course.
