New York: 215 Chrystie Street designed by Swiss Architects Herzog & De Meuron

215 Chrystie Street, between East Houston and Stanton, on the Lower East Side, will most likely be the neighborhood’s first iconic high-rise. New York’s first Public hotel, with 370 rooms taking up the first 18 floors, while 11 giant condos will sprawl across the top 10 stories. Swiss Architects Herzog & de Meuron designed the project and Ian Schrager and the Witkoff Group are the developers behind it.
