It is one of the companies that will be in Basel World. Here, we present you Eagles Safes and a bit of their story.
Y. H. Kim was a safe repair man untill he decided to start his own safe manufacturing company. The founder of the Sun Safes Mfg. Co. transformed South Korea in a safe importing country into a exporter. He set in his mind that his country would make luxury, high quality safes, from there to the world.
Laborer for a decade in the USA, in plenty of safe manufacturing companies, Mr. Kim returned to Korea and used his knowledge to open Sun Safes Mfg. Co., in 1973. Ms Y. S. Kim also joined him and now is the current president of the company.
After Mr. Kim built a test turnface in the factory, he continually conducted fire tests on his safes. When they endured 3 hours and 30 minutes at 980℃, a proof of its quality, the phenomum was quickly covered by newspapers and major broadcasting companies. The safes passed the UL class 350 one hour test and the impact test at the same time. This was the motto to stake in this business and the company started to identify consumers’ needs. That transformed Korea into a safe exporting country.
