During the largest watch and jewelry fair known widely by luxury-lovers and especially by us – Baselshows – as Baselworld 2015 that took place in Basel, Switzerland a certain famous company – Calvin Klein Watch + Jewelry Co. Ltd hosted a diner. It wasn’t, however, a typical diner, but a special, invitation-only one in order to celebrate.
Laura Burdese, the President of Calvin Klein Watches + Jewelry, for this special evening prepared a surprise – she revealed the three student winners of the watch and jewelry design competition that was launched last year with Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, Donghua University in Shangai and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. The winners? Zhang Yi from China, Anna Hammam – Usa, and Ilaria Tartarelli from Italy.
These young ladies without a doubt presented a fresh vision of Calvin Klein Watches and Jewelry. They received a cash prize and their work was displayed at Baselworld 2015. The event also featured a musical performance of the British singer- Birdy, known for her hit “Skinny love”.

The new lines of 2015 Calvin Klein Watches & Jewelry presented this year were designed under the direction of Mr. Ulrich Grimm. The highlights include the lustrous Calvin Klein alliance watch, a linear construction rendered in polished stainless steel to achieve the striking and graphic look. It has a unique silhouette and is made up of a sleek, twisted form. Sapphire glass, polished metals and pearls for a bright effect. Available PVD yellow and pink gold.
