ICFF is approaching its 2019 edition and they promise to bring in a couple of novelties for this upcoming exhibition. We’ve already managed to gather a couple of names that will be present for this New York exhibition so have a look at some of the top art galleries to see during ICFF 2019.
ICFF has been around for over 30 years and during those decades this event has successfully managed to attract a relevant crowd composed of architects, interior designers, developers and visual merchandisers who drive North America’s high-end interiors marketplace. Having managed to attract over 38,000 attendees this event not only managed to double itself particularly in the past three editions but is also successfully became an international reference for many people involved in the many areas of high-end design.

This year’s edition of ICFF is set to happen from the 19th to the 22nd of May and it will be exhibiting a series of novelties from areas such as Furniture, Lighting, Accessories, Materials, Home Technology and, of course, Art Galleries. It’s precisely on this last topic that we will be focusing on: here are some art galleries set to showcase for ICFF 2019 that you can’t afford to miss!
Catharina Goldnau Ceramics
Catharina Goldnau Ceramics will be showcasing a new collection that will allow many onlookers to think of the possibility of integrating ceramics into their daily life beyond more than just cups and plates. This organization is set to show new collections that will integrate earthy coarse texture with smooth porcelain. This collection will also include large ornamental bowls, as well as some ceramic side tables that you will be able to see for yourself.
Christine Mottau
Coming to showcase to ICFF for the first time is Christine Mottau, an American artist currently living and working in New York City and Spencertown, NY. She’s mostly known for her paintings, drawings and paper sculptures, having recently debuted a recent abstract series of oil paintings heavily based on chakra meditation theory. According to ICFF’s page, Christine Mottau is an artist who “aims to portray a sense of beauty that can emotionally connect with viewers in an increasingly chaotic world”.

Lee Borthwick
Lee Borthwick consists of a Scottish born, London-based installation artist which will be bringing a new collection of work to debut during ICFF 2019. The collection’s name is “Wanderings” and it’s a series of two unique wall-hanging pieces, which will take the aesthetic of Lee’s signature wood and mirror tapestries into more sculptural compositions, while at the same time retaining the tranquil, therapeutic qualities that have made her work known around the globe.
ITAS
Lastly, we have ITAS which essentially consists of an idea that came to be from Marco Terni Poletti and two other professionals who are experts in high-precision machining. What united these three men was their passion for the artistic engraving of metals in all its expressions, as well as the exclusive use of precious materials (among them bronze, copper, steel, brass, gold, mother-of-pearl, slate, marble and wood). They will be at ICFF to show the best of the “Made in Italy” craftsmanship in the two areas mentioned above.
