Inspired by Gucci’s Flora design of the 1960s, Gucci Jewelry is pleased to release new additions to the Gucci Flora silver jewelry line.

The story began in Milan in 1966, when Prince Rainier of Monaco brought his wife to the Gucci boutique. Rodolfo Gucci insisted that Princess Grace choose a gift to accompany the bamboo bag she had purchased. The Princess requested a scarf. Rodolfo felt that the House lacked one sufficiently beautiful for the royal style icon and so he commissioned illustrator Vittorio Accornero to create the most beautiful print he could imagine. Accornero returned with his painting: the “Flora”, a sumptuous, multi-hued, flowered template destined to become a design classic.

Featuring the now iconic intricate pattern of butterflies and flowers, the new Gucci Flora jewelry pieces are crafted in sterling silver. The romantic Flora pattern is clearly displayed and is offset by the Aureco finish, which lends depth to the pattern and character to the design.

This latest ensemble comprises a set of three pieces including a new heart motif with a cuff bracelet and earring duo in the traditional Flora style.

The necklace (45cm), stud earrings and bracelet all display solid silver heart pendants engraved with a small Flora butterfly and the Gucci signature logo. Two pieces without the heart charm include a solid Flora bracelet in cuff style, designed to match hoop earrings (10mm).

The iconic flowered pattern has been used over the years by Gucci across handbags and accessories, and now translates beautifully into this wearable and charming jewelry line.
