The Countries You Need To Visit In Winter – When we think of vacations and traveling most of us think of sunny beaches and summer getaways. But the truth is that paradise is not always sandy beach, you can also have fun and relax in the cold. Here is a list of countries you really need to visit during Winter:
SWITZERLAND
Switzerland is the perfect vacation for families and individuals alike, it is one of the best places to spend your holidays. You can have a lot of fun with winter sports, but Switzerland has so much to offer like the traditional fondue, the shots of kirsh, the cherry brandy, the Christmas and New Year’s traditions.
NORWAY
Norway in Winter is also a great destination for your holidays. There is a lot to do and see, like sleeping in a glass igloo and watching the Aurora Borealis, winter sports, dog-sledding, spending time with reindeer herders and seeing, for example, Alta and Tromso covered in snow.
Moscow, Russia
Moscow is a great trip after the holidays, in Russia the christmas is celebrated in january with a lot of merry events. Make sure you visit the mystical winter palace and try to catch The Nutcracker in Marrinsky’s Theatre.
ICELAND
Iceland is known for their magical landscapes, northern lights and geothermal pools and spas. There is so many things you can do despite the shorter and colder days, like seeing the northern lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, visiting natural attractions, riding a horse, snorkeling and amongst other things.
