Martin Group is the company created by its current creative director and designer Beth Martin, who draws on twenty plus years of design experience. Today Basel Shows will be focusing on the work and legacy of this amazing Swiss company.

It’s an enterprise known for having a keen aesthetic eye when taking on a new challenge in regards to interior design projects. Martin Group is an example of an enterprise has spent years curating an extended group of highly skilled contractors and craftspeople, furniture makers, and sewers. This was made on the belief that “the most inspired spaces come from collaboration,  to help execute designs at the highest level”.

This company is the result of Beth Martin’s combination of a keen aesthetic eye with her passions for art, design and travelling. Thanks to her unique capacity ELLE DECOR placed Beth on their A-List of Designers to Watch in 2011 and also ended up choosing her for their inaugural Showcase House in San Francisco in 2010. She’s also been placed on the exclusive ELLE DECOR A-List of designers for the last three years running.

What makes her interior design touch feel different and special when compared to other interiors designers is her capacity to mix in casual and bohemic into one space. She usually uses a more neutral colour palette combined with some amazing wall treatments, exotic stones, personal treasures and a couple of art elements. Her sensibility to insert all these details into a project is what makes her projects feel unique.
