Jewelry is indeed one of the businesses which fascinate and creates dreams of elegance to many people. Today we’re talking a little about 7 of the Best Jewelry Designers in this current age.
Bulgari
Also known as Bvlgari, this Italian luxury brand is famous for the following products and services: jewelry, watches, fragrance, and hotels. Despite being Italian, this brand was originally created by Sotirios Bulgaris, a Greek jeweler who lived in Rome.
When it comes to famous collection the Serpenti definitely is the one many people remember the most. The pieces in this collection (jewels and watches) are made in the shape of snakes and decorated with pavé gemstones. Even Elizabeth Taylor couldn’t resist this wonderful example of exquisite jewelry.
Piaget
This brand was originally founded by Georges Piaget in 1874 and since then became famous for its luxury watch designs and elaborate jewelry. In the year 2008, this brand was ranked as the 6th most prestigious jewelry brand in the world by The Luxury Group.
The designs of these brands in this field revolve very much around an Old Hollywood style, something which can be seen in their Piaget Rose collection.

Graff
Graff is the result of Laurence Graff’s ascension from a 15-year-old jeweler apprentice to a professional in that same field, which lead to the creation of this brand in 1960. About two years later he had many stores opened in the London district.
The main catch of this brand? Buying and setting famous diamonds. Among the precious stones that were worked on by Graff, there’s the Wittelsbach-Graff diamond, as well as the Lesotho Promise diamond.
Buccelati
Another Italian brand makes it to our list! This one is very famous for its elaborate gemstone jewelry, once again inspired by Old Hollywood and the Art Nouveau era. The gemstones have the forms of several animals such as peacocks and dragonflies.
Among their most notable collections, we highlight “Art in Gold, Silver, and Gems” at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and also the “Gemstone Cocktail Rings”, which were at several places in the world.
Cartier
Created by French jewelry designer Louis-François Cartier in 1847, Cartier is undoubtedly one of the world’s most prominent jewelers. This brand has lots of clients from royalty; among them, we can count King Edward VII of England, Princess Grace of Monaco, and the Maharaja of Patiala.
The most iconic jewel of Cartier is definitely the Panthère brooch. This fine piece with the shape of a panther and covered in pave diamonds and gems became a symbol which most associate with this house to this day.

Dior
The second French brand on our list is known for many products, but it was in jewelry that this business was originally born. Since the 50s, Dior became famous for being a brand that managed to put a feminine twist on traditionally masculine jewelry designs.
Of course, it’s no surprise that some of their most famous collections are addressed to women. We are talking about several pieces with a rose-like design to them. Fun fact: the rose happens to be Christian Dior’s favorite flower.
Tiffany
Considered a favorite for many current celebrities and fashion icons, Tiffany was originally founded by Charles Lewis Tiffany in New York in 1837. Their diamond rings, bracelets, pendants, earrings, and pins have fascinated many jewel lovers over the years.
“Bird on a Rock” has to be one of the most (if not “the most”) famous jewelry designs of all time. The piece has one diamond and gold bird standing atop of an enormous 128.54-carat yellow diamond.
